You can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. You don't have to explain why, and we won't ask you to prove anything about your setup. If it isn't what you wanted, say so and we'll refund it.
Rust Server Manager is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there's no recurring charge, no renewal date and nothing to cancel. The 14 days run from the date of each purchase separately: your license has its own window, and an extra machine added later has its own window running from the day you bought that add-on.
Purchases made through this site are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, so the quickest route is theirs. Go to paddle.net, enter the email address you bought with, and Paddle will find your order and take the refund request against it. Paddle processes the refund and tells us it happened — there's nothing you need to send us separately.
You can also come straight to us. Email support@rustservermanager.com from the address you bought with, or open a ticket from your customer portal, and tell us what you'd like refunded. Use this route if you bought before we moved to Paddle — those purchases went through PayPal and have no Paddle order to look up — if paddle.net can't find your purchase, or if you'd simply rather ask a person. The 14 days are the same either way.
However you ask, the money goes back to the payment method you used, through the payment provider that handled the original transaction — so how long it takes to appear on your statement is up to your bank, not us.
A refunded purchase means the thing it paid for goes away. Refunding a license revokes that license and signs out the machines running under it; refunding an extra-machine add-on reduces your machine count by that machine. RSM Web needs a valid license to run, so it will stop working on the machines the refund covered. Nothing else on your account is touched — your account itself, your other licenses, and your support history all stay.
Past 14 days we're not obliged to refund, but we'd rather hear from you than not. If the software is broken for you, or it isn't doing what this site said it would, email us anyway and we'll work out something fair. Being outside the window is not a reason to stay quiet.
Please ask us for a refund before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback revokes the license the same way a refund does, but it takes weeks instead of days and gives us no way to help you first. If a chargeback has already been filed, email us — we can usually still sort it out faster than the dispute will.
Licenses are tied to your account, and accounts aren't transferable without our approval — you can't sell, rent or hand over your account to someone else without contacting us first. This isn't meant to trap you: contact support@rustservermanager.com and we'll usually say yes to a genuine transfer. It exists so we know who actually owns a license when something goes wrong with it. See section 5 of the Terms of Service.
This policy sits on top of the rights the law already gives you — it doesn't replace them. If you're a consumer in a country whose law grants you a longer or broader right to cancel or return a purchase, that right applies regardless of what this page says.
Consumers in the EU and UK have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. That right can be waived for digital content delivered immediately, but only where the buyer expressly consents at the point of purchase — we don't rely on that waiver. The 14 days above apply to you either way, and if the law where you live gives you longer, the longer period is what counts.
